Ryan MosesOriginally from Detroit, MI, Ryan Moses ventured to the Boston area to attend Boston College, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Management and a duel concentration in Accounting and Information Systems in 2005.

Working in the restaurant industry made sense for Moses because of his experiences with food growing up. His mother was an excellent cook and his father took a particular interest in wine. Moses was always interested in trying new things; a curiosity that developed itself into a passion for the fine dining industry.

Throughout his career, Moses has worked in a variety of positions in the restaurant field. He was the manager at DeMarco Restaurant in Nantucket in 2005. Moses worked from busser to bartender in the restaurant for five seasons at a fine dining Northern Italian restaurant in Nantucket where he spent his last year managing. During his time there Moses created a wine list that won a Wine Spectator Award of Excellence in 2006.

In 2006, as Beverage Manager at the Westmoor Club, a 480-family private club in Nantucket, he was responsible for the full bar and wine list for a 120-person dining room. Moses received an Award of Merit for the wine program from the Club Managers Association of America.

In 2007, Moses worked as the Beverage and Service Manager at Apocrypha in Needham, coordinating impeccable service for a five-star standard restaurant in the Metro West suburbs of Boston. Here he gained invaluable culinary experience and detailed finer service education.

As General Manager at 51 Lincoln, Moses brings a vast background of wine knowledge and service experience that he hopes will contribute to everyone's enjoyment of what Chef/Owner Jeffery P. Fournier has crafted at 51 Lincoln. Moses is looking to create a comfortable and dynamic environment for Fournier’s artistic cuisine.

Moses has developed a wine program at 51 Lincoln to suit a wide variety of tastes, and is driven by the satisfaction of sharing his knowledge by introducing someone to a new wine. He believes that there is something to be appreciated in most any wine and that wine only gets better with food and friends.
